Steps forward tonight. Lots of guys got to play. Defense shone after the one first half score. 2-0 in conference.
Let's hope injuries are minor and few.
Next week is a whole different kettle of fish. ACU will be the best team we will have faced this year --at their place--and a history of tough games. Jacks will have to be sharp and ready.

I thought the first team offense performed very well. The defense, on the other hand, worries me a bit. They have given up too many big plays the past two weeks. And there doesn't appear to be as much depth on the defense as there is on the offense. (I know, I'm knit-picking after a nice win.)

Just from an outsider perspective Gavin and Speedy appeared to be okay on the sidelines.

Choosing a player of the game will be tough. The team battled the rainy conditions, early adversity, and the injury bug and still dominated their opponent, and it was truly a team effort. Might need your guys help in choosing a Sawmill Sports Player of the Game for this one.
