The last time SFA won a season opener on the road was 1995 at Youngstown State, winning 27-0.

Also to get rid of any concerns about Kylon playing in case anyone had any, the TRO specially states that the Rule of Restitution does not apply to any player who's protected by it.
Kylon likely saw limited snaps because he just recently rejoined the team. Expect him to be featured more in the offense as he gets more reps in the new offense.

Not to harp (I guess I am harping...) but Rutherford made a big mistake at an important time late in the game when he escaped the pocket and, with an acre of nothing but green grass in front of him, stopped and attempted a fruitless pass. That could have easily been a 20-25 yard gain in McNeese territory.

Defense is everything we had last year. LB's , specifically Elli Ennis is very good. Ennis is everywhere.
Rutherford needs to get to "mark downs" a little quicker. Probably game one jitters.
