Im sorry but those two unsportsmanlike are ridiculous. First one sure was a little taunt but it seemed like it was a hype our own player. Then the one for 80 was hardly an ejection worthy of a play.

I also heard spitting from the announcers so not sure how accurate but if he did spit he would be out on his ear in my book.
The taunting was equally stupid. They are looking harder at taunting this year so why play yourself into a dumb penalty.
I hate that Vidlak fumbled twice--it's his job as QB to protect the ball BUT the stupid penalties are indefensible.

Defensive line getting pushed around. Completely different from 1st quarter. ACU made adjustments and it's working for them. Can SFA make adjustments to come back? They look rattled. Penalties show lack of poise. This could get even uglier quickly.

I just don't see Carthel going anywhere until atleast 2027 when his contract is up and then who do we even find who can maybe capitalize on an East Texas Market of players and get some good transfers.

Tarleton clearly understands the way Sam Houston achieved excellence and they want it too. It was not by chance. SH spent money on prime coaches who were not all talk, they are reaping the rewards right now!! Tarleton is doing the EXACT same thing!! "Spend money to MAKE MONEY!!" Easy business concept. There is no chance that Whitten would come to SFA!!

I agree. Im just worried we won't be spending that top dollar to get us over that hurdle.
