Well credit to the SU coaching staff....they go into a hurry up offense and we have absolutely no answer for it and they drive 75yds for a TD. Missed 2 point try so 28-19

Our defense is pathetic. They (SUU) keep running the same screen. Unbelievable.

Rather disappointing last few minutes of the half. At 28-13 we had the chance to knock SU out of the game. Then they went hurry up and our defense doesn't respond. Then the silly unsportsmanlike penalty gave them the short field so they hit a FG against the wind to make it 28-22 at half.
Still anybody's game.

Game is unnecessarily close for how much better I think we are.

If SUU keeps that offensive pace up, we could be in trouble, cause I have little faith our coaches can make any sensible adjustments.

But, I've been wrong before.

Ya. Defense is STRUGGLING against that screen. Kind of mystifying.

And the defense fails miserably. Can't tackle, can't even slow down a hurry up offense. 34-38

Glad to get out with a win. Offense and couple of big special team plays carried the day. Defense was mostly nonexistent and bad after a good job vs Tarleton last week. I give a lot of credit to SU coaches for the pounding on our defense.
Also safe to say the hurricane like winds forced both staffs to reinvent the game plan as it played out.

Gipson had a record setting day for yardage I believe. Will be looking for that stat.
