Why do we have 35 pass attempts to only 16 rushes?

I don't know what this shows. Not much. At least we aren't making stupid mistakes, by and large.
If I heard the attendance number correctly, they announced 12,590!!!

Anybody know what we paid Warner to come here for this beating??
I agree that Mauer is more athletic. That does not make him a better QB. I think Mauer has a ways to go to pick up the offense, and get in sync with his receivers.SFASawmillGuy said:
Also I guess Preston is now our backup, which I don't agree with. Brian is a less accurate passer but he's much more athletic so he brings more to the table.

SFA is making national news with these numbers, and of course everyone is chiming in on how mean SFA is.
I'm just answering with the phrase of "Ask Lamar"

I haven't heard about a cheerleader who died. How awful. I'm assuming it was epilepsy because of the bows, but that's an assumption.SFAJack_76 said:
We walked through the Axe 'Em Acres about 4:45. Not many people there, but it was really hot on that parking lot. I like the concept, but it has a ways to go to generate interest. There was a long line at Gate 1 to get the 400 free caps. Saw a few students leaving after they got their caps. Really good crowd of 12,590. From afar, it looked like the tents in the south end were well utilized. Mobile units were packed as usual. Dr. Westbrook made a walk through prior to the game to shake hands and say hello. Ivey walked through during the game. There is now a swag store in the seldom used, NE concession stand location. I did not go to see what they had.
Band, cheer, and dance were in their usual top form. Probably some missed the announcement about the male cheerleader that died a couple of weeks ago. Cheerleaders were wearing purple bows for epilepsy awareness. This has been a tough couple of weeks, as you can imagine.
Yes, Warner was getting on the bus after the game to make the 16 hour or so ride home to Lake Wales, FL. Damn 0-4 Lamar. I continue to wish them, and UIW, ill.

Is LB:#6 BREVIN RANDLE 6-0; 230 (SR.) gone?
I notice that he is no longer on the roster.

Must have been something big and hush hush to just be gone like that.
Well, the defense just took another hit.

I'm uncomfortable with hype videos and a team patting itself on the back when it played a team 3 divisions below it. Warner isn't even a good NAIA team.
Unfortunately, we see this all the time. Utah made a big deal out of smashing SUU. You didn't do anything worth bragging about, just take the win and move on.

I agree. Making hype videos on a undermanned team is not good.
Related. I did some research. It's not an exact equal, but NAIA football scholarship level is just below NCAA D2. So we were only playing down a division. Not that it makes it any better. Warner would be vaguely equivalent to the last place Lone Star conference squad.

Where does D3 fit in? I thought it went NAIA->D3->D2->FCS->FBS. Either way, there is a bigger gap between SFA and Warner than there is between Utah and SUU. SFA didn't have a choice because of the punks at Lamar but this was essentially an exhibition game. I hope Warner made a little money.
