Now I'm wondering if the twin UNT games was mistake... But L&L said there was a contract. So...
I'm cool with playing two FBS schools in the same season.

Can only say what I saw on that board. It's signed by Ivey in August of '19 and apparently was an update from the original agreement signed in August of '17. Poster mentions Troy in '23 and was questioning if that game was still on.
Someone at NTSN (UNT's Instagram account) tweeted that SFA is not on UNT's 2023 schedule.

Assuming we maintain the direction we're going in football, I absolutely love these future games. We're finally scheduling FBS games we can have a very real hope of winning. There's an off chance we could be good enough in the future to be favored upsets.

I'm kind of hoping it's with a quality FBS school. Get the national attention and get to 2-0 vs FBS teams.

UIW does not have schedules posted for football, volleyball, or women's soccer. I wish them complete and total failure in everything they do. They lied about what they were going to do to get into the SLC. They lied about what they were going to do to get into the WAC, and then pulled a last minute disappearing act.

UIW does not have schedules posted for football, volleyball, or women's soccer. I wish them complete and total failure in everything they do. The game comes at the middle of the schedule. I do not WANT a ETBU etc but I think there's value in resting some of your starters before embarking on the final stages of conference and "fingers crossed" an epic playoff run.
I hope we find someone more valuable than a NAIA squad. If we have to play a squad twice , then so be it.

I'd like to see us try and get an occasional SIAC squad or MEAC team. It would be nice to mix it up. Maybe a South Carolina St in a home and home set up.

My preference would be Grambling. I recall us playing Grambling sometime in the 90's. They (GSU) had an exceptionally large O-Line.
