SFA (1-3; 1-6) vs. MCNEESE (2-3; 4-4)

WHEN: OCT. 26 (SAT) 3:00 P.M.
WHERE: NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS (HOMER BRYCE STADIUM)
TV: ESPN+

It's Homecoming, and with fall in the air, moving into the Nac, the most dangerous 1-6 team in the nation sets their sites on the boys from Lake Charles.

McNeese appears to have awakened of late as Coach Gilbert and staff bring an offense that has average nearly 40 points a game in their last 3 contests.

Jr. QB Cody Orgeron is red hot having passed for 17 TD's with 2,182 total yards of offense completing 70.4% of his passes on his last 72 attempts with a two game average of 323 yards.

The Cowboy's defense has given up 318 yards a game threw the air and 97 on the ground at 31 points a game.

Prepare for another smash mouth, drag it out until the end, hard fought battle that these rivals could only know.

The QB, Orgeron, is the son of Ed, the head coach at LSU...and a guy who has the all time best, unintelligible soundbites.
SFASawmillGuy
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Orgeron took over last year for the Cowboys after then starting QB James Tabary struggled a ton against us in Lake Charles. He's been good if not inconsistent since taking over. Has accuracy issues which we can try to exploit but he's also very mobile, which seems to have been our Achilles heel since 2011.
Our offense is gonna have to come alive for this one.

We should tag the Dallas & Houston stations in stuff like that.

They always need content & that's great weeknight content.

Yeah Purple was about to post that we have complained on this board about other broadcast but the announcers here today are not exactly on top of things and the down and yards to go on the scoreboard have been wrong more than right. Did they give the regulars off for homecoming?

I was thinking the same thing, and maybe that's why we had no broadcast for Jack Madness last night. Doesn't seem like the weekend to do that.

Good defensive stand in the red zone to hold McNeese to FG.

I synced up Rob Meyers broadcast to match video...still have the press box view of game but better play by play.

This is 100% different from our normal broadcasts. Not sure why.

Just logged on here. I agree. I feel like I'm watching a student TV crew and announcers from UIW or HBU, not SFA. This is hard to watch. Two cameras, one from the press box and one from the north end zone. Almost need a pair of binoculors just to watch the feed. I thought SFA had a great TV broadcast crew. Where the heck are they?

Defense playing well so far save the one 40yd pass play.

Anybody know about Ward the running back. Haven't seen him today and don't see 21 on the sidelines and with this press box view we should be able to read all the numbers!

Offense putting our defense into bad field position. Sounds familiar.

2nd FG miss by Ruiz today...but they were from 54 and 49 yards. Both long enough but off to right.

Meyers did say RB Ward out with an injury today.

Offense somehow needs to figure something out...defense keeping us in game but will get tired of being on the field.
