Thank you because it is miserably hot outside the stadium and not many places to get out of the sun. Couple hundred people hiding out in the shop pretending to be interest in Texans merch.

Ya. Thanks to all that made the trek. I myself have sat through 4 or 5 beatdowns over the past 7 or 8 years (I've lost track). I chose to give Carthel another year to pull this crew together before I emotionally invest. Last year almost killed me. I was a miserable person for at least one day and maybe more. Next my friends. Next year. I think we will be better and I will be there in force.

Nice event. I can say the tailgating has been pretty good for the past few events (I'm not attending today). Despite all the losing I would guess that we had 7,000 - 8,000 in Purple. Compared to probably 12,000 in Orange. They have the benefit of being competitive if not good for the past 10 years along with probably 2X the alumni in Houston. I feel like we will be back. But probably not this year.

This is where I disagree with the play calling. Don't gain a yard and only burn 15 seconds. There has to be one run play to put some time away.
