Both our starting DT are walk on true freshmen. They have probably the best offensive line in the conference, probably one of the best in all of the FCS.

I hate fourth down running plays from shotgun. If you go for it get up there, don't leave yourself 4 yards to gain.

You do realize that Prison Tech shellacked UIW 45-6 tonight, right? I think Lamar next week is a winnable game if the defense can make some stops every now and then.

Good. Hope we continue to improve. We seem to go through this Upheaval every 8 or 9 years. The last one I believe was 2007, When we went 0-11. I think. I don't know why our contractions are so significant. Well..... I guess that's the life of a Lumberjack fan.

I was pleasantly surprised with yesterday's game. They were in it most of the ways. When N got up by a good margin they would claw and fight back. Saw flashes of a good defense but the offensive Play calling in clutch situations still confuses me

I agree, Nicholls was 6 of 6 on 3rd down conversions at one point and went 0 for 6 for the rest of the game.

The defense maybe starting to figure it out.

I can only imagine what this team would be like with all the missing seniors, especially with Bakari, Nichols, and Cox all playing in the middle of the defensive line.

Great point. I don't know why this whole eligibility catastrophe became us but it's a real tragedy. I'm convinced we are 2-2 without the eligibility bs.

Oh yeah. Even without Blumrick or Ward we're easily 3-1 or 2-2 if we had these guys back. It'll get better.
