Agreed 1 min left and run up the middle, run up the middle don't use the time outs you have then try some Hail Marys. Should have given your self a chance to win the game in regulation by throwing the bubble screens that were working for you to the sidelines so you could get yards and get out.

While I support Carthel and do believe he will get this mess turned around, I definitely hold the play calling with 1:12 to go and 2 timeouts and we don't try to get downfield for a FG to try and win it on the coaching staff. Made no sense. With the defense struggles we have had how do you not make a run in that last possession.
Would love to bring that up Monday night when the coaches are available...wherever that is in Nac.

I have a new found appreciation for the SFA film cew and commentators. They are like an NFL broadcast compared to what I watched tonight. At one point my son and I were trying to figure out what was going on, on the field and they were showing the crowd of course. Turns out it was a hurt player. Know idea which team just looking at the crowd. Commentators didn't say either. They must have been looking at the crowd as well. Then a jerky camera couldn't make out if there was pass interference or not as the camera was no where near the receiver until well after the play was dead. Then the commentator talked about how great the film crew was doing tonight. Wow.
