Good game..I am so glad we covered..
I heard them credit Pace with a catch on the PA, but it was not him.SFAXE93 said:
After watching the game again, i did not see #72, or #8.
They kept saying Pace's name but it was #9 Remi and not #8
Saw the post on the Tarleton thread. Eighteen true freshmen played.SFAJack_76 said:I heard them credit Pace with a catch on the PA, but it was not him.SFAXE93 said:

Didn't we nearly win the last one against SMU?
You know Texan I really am not sure...My love for SFASU came about with the hiring of Ryan and Coach C and me going back to get my degree in Fall 15, almost anything before that(besides Basketball) i know nothing about...TallTexan said:Jacks4460 said:

I looked down in the 3rd qtr and we had 70 55 66 as our RG C LG all three true freshman against Baylor #2's.. They held there own... It all starts up front.. These 3 will be our building blocks on the OL..SFAXE93 said:

Can you imagine how good they (and all of the other freshmen) can be if they're here all four years?! Talk about building a foundation!Jacks4460 said:I looked down in the 3rd qtr and we had 70 55 66 as our RG C LG all three true freshman against Baylor #2's.. They held there own... Five true freshmen OL playing indicates how far we have to go.
I agree completely. Simply an indicator of how far down we were. But then, we all saw that and the previous staff did next to nothing to fix it.SFA Jack Fanatic said:SFAJack_76 said:

True, but think about the leaking sieve that the OL has been the last two years. Got to start somewhere. Carthel is throwing that great recruiting class into the fire right away. And with the OL he inherited, he had no choice.
You mean 3 OL...SFAJack_76 said:

Yep 76 and this coaching staff inherited 5 OL of which only 3 were on scholly...SFAJack_76 said:I agree completely. Simply an indicator of how far down we were. But then, we all saw that and the previous staff did next to nothing to fix it.SFA Jack Fanatic said:SFAJack_76 said:

You're thinking about 2009 when we lost 31-23. SMU had to come from behind to beat us.
We've played SMU twice since then and well....let's forget those games.
