Ladyjacks host UCA, look for early advantage in title race

The Ladyjacks have unfinished business with the UCA Sugar Bears after the way 2016-17 ended. A win over the defending SLC Tournament champs would give SFA a leg up in a tight conference race.

SFA will face Central Arkansas in Nacogdoches on Wednesday night, seeking their ninth win in a row. The stakes couldn't be higher in mid-January.

UCA, who was knocked from their first place spot last week in a surprising loss, ended the Ladyjacks’ season last year in the 2017 Southland Conference Tournament championship game.
