Because of the Federal government's shutdown, the Air Force Academy has canceled all intercollegiate athletic events, both home and away. I assume the same is happening at the other service academies.

Yeah, stinks for them and the teams on their schedule. Like usual, I bet some interim relief is coming soon, but what a pain.
How is this a rule? I highly doubt that AFs budget operates on a cycle determined by congress, but rather like an actual school.edstile said:

I'd think the military academies could lobby to be deemed essential in all aspects if they wanted to.
