San Diego State won the Mountain West tournament, so we have a win over a tournament team. Three other teams we beat are still playing but all are underdogs.

What an exciting tournament this was! I am so pumped about the Ladyjacks being back where they belong - the NCAA tournament. They played an incredible game, didn't lose their poise, and once again rose to the occasion. SLU played damn good defense. They remind me of the Ladyjacks of years gone by that would absolutely strangle teams with their incredible defense. I was glad to see these ladies figure out how to win in spite of that defense!

Saw an early bracket done this morning by Charlie Creme that had SE La. as a 15 seed playing TCU in Ft. Worth. Guess we got to get that updated but I sure would like it to be in Ft. Worth!
Kellogg's two NCAA appearances were 12 seeds. Those teams had 3 and 4 losses heading into the tournament. 29 wins is impressive however you look at it.
Honestly for seed wise I think 12-14 is the best guess. TCU would be tough. I don't think we will get them. I hope for some close by regional game though.

Up to 82 in the NET. It's true that of the midmajor qualifiers, this year is much more competitive than it was when we got the 12 seeds. Not many favorites have been faltering this year. Not winning the Southland outright hurts. But our schedule and win percentage are decent.

14 or 15 is about right, IMO. 12 or 13 highly unlikely.
I finally got a chance to watch this. I don't think I have ever heard any basketball player talk about a coach the way these ladies do. It's evident he knows how to not only coach, but also connect with his players. That's going to result in dividends that are hard to measure. THAT is special!nacluth said:

I don't think it's been mentioned how good the LMB was. Musically, they are excellent, but the energy they brought for the entire game was phenomenal.
