Well, here we are in Lake Charles, LA, ready to cheer on our Ladyjacks as they are the 3rd seed in the tournament.
The first two games were today;
1. TAMU-CC vs NWST: caught the last qtr on ESPN+ on the drive over. Physical game but NWST was able to come away with the 3 point win. TAMU-CC can shoot the 3 when they are ON and they scored several quickly late in the game to get close; however, that sneaky guard on NWST is this good!
NWST plays UIW at 11 a.m.
2. Nicholls vs UTRGV: was able to watch this one in person (wanted to see who we would play). They were fairly evenly matched. UTRGV has more height; Nicholls is a more defensive team. They had a hard time listening to their coach--lots of miscommunication. The 2nd half was nwcj and neck, with some shooters from Nicholls coming in clutch. It went down to the last possession, with about 1.3 seconds left to do a catch and shoot, with Nicholls up by 2---UTRGV misses their shot due to miscommunication, so we will play Nicholls tomorrow at 1;30 p.m.

All the coaching staff was there scouting and our Ladies were in the stands watching the game.
