Texas State STILL looking for first bowl game.
I grew up in Fort Worth and, as a Boy Scout, ushered at a lot of TCU games. The teams were almost always bad. Heck, the band was bad. They had a half time performance that made the news because they were literally running into each other.Ljacks&Longnecks said:
Wow, growing up back in the days of the SWC---Southwest Conference the bottom teams were usually TCU, Baylor, Rice or A&M.
Never would have thought in my lifetime I would see a TCU with a chance to win a Natty in anything much less football. It will be a tough challenge but they have the shot.

CUSA schedule just dropped.
Sam has 5 midweek games next season.
If that's the FBS path, give me FCS forever.
Hawaii might bring in a few.SFASawmillGuy said:
I would agree with you if it wasn't for them being mid week games. I would love to bring schools like that to Homer Bryce Stadium but it's absolutely going to hurt the atmosphere and attendance with it being midweek. Not even talking trash here, do you really think a midweek game against UTEP is going to draw even a decent crowd?
If it was a Saturday game I know Huntsville would be rockin, but on Wednesday and Thursday I'd find it hard to believe there's gonna be a huge draw.
