I feel like they have to roll with it now. They have started recruiting with that C-USA pitch and new scholarships. Bail on that and the transfer portal will decimate them.

Oh for sure. They're 100% committed.

But I wonder if they try to jump a year early and play a mostly FBS schedule?

The logistics on scheduling with that turnaround would be insane. At least with the C-USA defectors, they are going FBS to FBS. Sam would have to redo everything on a dime.
Everybody is going to dangle the C-USA uncertainty over their head on the recruiting trail…

Marshall has filed suit against C-USA in their attempt to achieve an early exit so they can join the Sun Belt this Fall.
