The NCAA FB Transfer Portal window opens January 2 (11:00 p.m.) through January 16. Players have to enter their names into the portal during that timeframe, but they don't have to find their new schools by then.

I would imagine he will only get to play in blowouts. He's a great player but I would think Braeden Lewis would be above him on the depth chart. Once Jenkins graduates then he will be more likely get to significant snaps. It's rare to see a true freshman get much PT nowadays.

Crenshaw is a Top 100 RB in the nation, 3-star recruit, had 6 FBS offers, over 2,200 yards and 24 TD's his senior season at Anderson, with 184 yards a game, and the all-time leading rusher and TD scorer in AISD history.

But we will see, as that was high school and college is different, but with the depth at RB and injuries that always happen I'm willing to bet he will see significant playing time in 2026.

The staff is pretty big on Crenshaw.

I could live with a three-headed rushing attack. A good problem to have.

Does anyone know if Crenshaw and/or Jones can enroll in the Spring and start learning the system then?

Pretty much had one in 2025 with Wimbley, Reese, and Jenkins with all of them playing 10+ games during the season having a total of almost 2,000 yards and 18 TD's.

If they don't get another RB in the portal look for Jenkins, Jones, and Crenshaw. (sounds like a law firm) A nice mesh of experience at each level to complement each other.

Coach Faske is hard at work getting the offers out there to the JUCO's for 2026 season.
