I sat in on a Class 5-A state semifinal last night with Beaumont Westbrook facing Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial.

Memorial has a lanky 6'8" PF named Billy White III, their coach's son. This guy is good. Shoots the three extremely well. He had six or seven threes last night and has 113 on the year. Good rebounder, too. Memorial lost and finished the year 39-1 and was ranked #1 in Class 5-A.

He would be a great addition if we could land him. I'm sure Texas A&M CC will be all over him in recruiting. If there's anyone with connections to our Athletic Department reading this, pass the word to our new coaching staff about this kid. He's good!
