With the depth at running back and Rutherford at QB maybe SFA should run the triple option in 2026, at least there should be more read option coming our way.

SFA will no doubt have a good number of QB running packages with this setup. Idk about a true triple option offense because it's actually pretty difficult to coach, especially when players are more used to traditional offenses, and has a high probability of catastrophic mistakes.

But I'm thinking we'll see something similar to what Ohio State had a lot of success with in the mid 2010s with a lot of RPOs and zone reads.

One things for sure, we should dominate time of possession in every game this season.

Triple option? Have you started drinking again, 93? I thought you got that monkey off your back.

It's not unusual these days to see a QB or RB converted to another position, often receiver, maybe even DB. Wonder if that'll happen with one or two of these RB's to make use of their athleticism and keep 'em happy.

I was joking, but now the more I think about it, it would be cool to see, maybe even the wishbone, defenses wouldn't know how to defend it.

Its a reload but his stats don't impress me tbh. Doesn't seem like we are hitting hard for QBs so I think we are set on our QBs.

DB: #37 JAIYDYN JOHNSON 5-9; 172 (SO.) really came on in the second half of the season and was seeing substantial playing time even a start or two.

The Utah State transfer DB: #23 SACO ALOFIPO 5-10; 183 (SR.) was solid playing in 13 games with 29 tackles and a pick.

DB: #34 CHANCE SAUTTER 5-10; 181 (JR.) right now is the most experienced DB returning but he saw most of his time on special teams.

DB: #14 TYLER HUTCHERSON 5-9; 158 (JR.) 15 games played.

Incoming...

DB: #00 DAVONTA MORGAN-COLLINS 6-0; 175 (SO.) the Weber State transfer should get some good playing time now, along with Colorado State transfer DB: #00 CHAUNCEY DAVIS 6-0; 185 (SO.) and DB: #00 KADEN HOLMES 5-11; 194 (JR.)

Some good size DB's with

DB: #00 JA'KEON JACKSON 6-2; 165 (FR.)
DB: #00 ADARION PATTON 6-3; 190 (SO.)
DB: #00 RODERICK SUITERS 6-3; 185 (FR.)

The cupboard is far from bare, just have to wait and see about execution and who the new CB coach is.

Now add DB: #00 AVYONNE JONES 6-0; 200 (SR.) to the mix with his 35 games of FBS experience from Wisconsin and Coastal Carolina.
