Also, if there are no more additions or deletions, six of the nine on the team next year will be from out of state. There are people in those states, and Canada, that may not have heard of SFA before. To be the leading mid major, we need that national exposure to attract better student athletes, and contributions.
I will say this, it certainly doesn't hurt to have a national championship team.
Even if we're mostly known for it within the bowling community, that's exposure we wouldn't have otherwise.
If one day we decide that the HPE shouldn't just be a dungeon inside, having a bowling center that the ladies can also use would be a great asset for the university.
