Apparently, he started vs. Oklahoma and is a former 4-star, so he must be pretty good... Season-ending shoulder surgery though.

Yea, he was a stud out of DeSoto at 6-2; 225 #6 Duel QB; U.S. Army All-American with offers from Alabama, Texas, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, etc.

A runner. Not a thrower. Was benched at one point because the offense could not come from behind with him in.

Has two years left I think, but he'd have to sit for a year at the FBS level.

Good athlete. Struggled under pressure to close out games. Too many turnovers.

We should pass on this one. I really believe with the QB coaching from Storm that Cam will be our guy. I watched him for 4 years in high school. He is smart, protects that ball, and desire to win shows when he plays. I saw him turn the worst snaps into big yardage or even touchdowns. Plus, he is a Texas State Champion and his team won lots of games in 4 years. So he works well in a winning system.

In addition to the usual high school and Juco recruiting, it must take someone full time to keep up with the names in the transfer portal. In this day and age of instant gratification, football looks to join basketball with mass migration.
