The QB battle will be really interesting. Blumrick most certainly has the experience. But his inconsistency is very hard to ignore.

Covey is still very interesting. And Arnold could be a wildcard. But as far as I see, SFA doesn't have a starting QB until week one.

We'll, one thing's for sure. The FB Jacks QB's won't have the lack of depth issues due to injuries that the MBB Jacks do.

Name to watch tomorrow is Jade Ashalintubbi from Elysian Fields, 6'6 1/4' 325. 3 time District Lineman of the year, 3 time all East Texas Longview News Journal, 3 Time All Smoaky.com All East Texas. 2 time sports writers All State ( will be 3 when it comes out in a few weeks). Has several 1-A offers, Tulsa, ULM, New Mexico, etc but just a small town guy who likes the school. Offer from SLC plus many more. Fully qualified with 3.5 GPA and 24 ACT
2 Time All Dist in Basketball and 2 time regional qualifier in the shot put.

Heck of a athlete and great feet for a big guy.
Started as LT for EF as a soph and Jr and we moved him to RG this year as we had to change our offense a little and needed him to blow things open inside.

SFA staff will be at Elysian Fields tomorrow and I would say something will happen.

Jade has so much film that didn't do a ton of highlights this year. Graded over 90% and had 96 pancake blocks this season.
