Before committing your strongest attacks in Aion 2, ask whether the opponent will still be reachable when they land. When considering Aion 2 Items for your setup, give equal attention to timing: plan to spend your major cooldowns on a target you can actually keep under pressure.

Read the Exit Before Starting Your Combo

Watch for movement toward pillars, corners, elevation changes, or nearby allies. Treat repeated backward steps and a sudden turn toward cover as reasons to reassess, not automatic invitations to chase. Look at the escape route rather than staring exclusively at the opponent's remaining health.

Do not interpret every retreat as helplessness. If an opponent starts withdrawing while keeping a defensive option available, test their response with a lighter attack. Hold your major cooldown briefly and watch whether they commit to leaving, turn to fight, or activate protection.

Keep Pressure Without Spending Everything

Use basic attacks or shorter cooldowns to challenge a retreat when those options are available in your build. Your immediate goal should be information: will the opponent spend mobility, accept damage, or seek cover Avoid activating several offensive effects before answering that question.

For example, imagine a wounded target approaching a doorway. Instead of opening your full burst sequence, apply one inexpensive attack and adjust your angle. If they disappear behind the wall, keep the remaining sequence ready. If they turn back into open ground, reconsider the commitment.

Melee: Secure Contact Before Committing

On Gladiator, separate reaching the opponent from starting your damage sequence. Close distance first, then confirm that you can remain beside them. Avoid pairing every available offensive cooldown with your initial approach when the target still has an unobstructed route away.

On Assassin, plan the follow-up before committing your approach tool. If reaching the target would leave no practical answer to their next escape, consider delaying. For Templar, weigh the value of maintaining a useful position against pursuing one opponent beyond support. Do not treat every retreat as a required chase.

Ranged: Preserve the Angle, Not Just Distance

On Ranger, seek a firing angle that lets you continue pressure without following directly around a blind corner. Move laterally where practical. Do not trigger your entire offensive window simply because the opponent is technically within reach at the opening moment.

On Sorcerer, assess visibility before committing a longer cast. If the target is already nearing cover, reposition or choose a lower commitment option where your setup permits. For either class, stop pursuit when securing another attack would require entering uncertain terrain without support.

Whether you adjust your build or explore Aion 2 Items buy options, keep the same priority: secure a believable damage opportunity before spending your strongest tools.
