SFA again gets to go up against the one two punch of Lamar's SLC Pitcher of the Year Chris Oliver and SLC Newcomer of the Year Travis Lutz. (They both lost to SFA in the last series meeting)
Lamar leads the over series at 42-25 but have lost 2 of the last 3 meetings, SFA is 9-22 in the series away from Pilgrim's Park.
Chris Oliver in the first game of the last series went 6 innings at Pilgrim's Park giving up 3 runs on 7 hits striking out 4 and walking 2.
Travis Lutz in the 3rd game of the series went only 2 innings before getting pulled early giving up 2 runs on 6 hits, striking out 2.
And I was incorrect on the winning season, SFA needs to win at least one more game to get that winning season record as the post season counts and with this being a double elimination tournament they could end up being 27-27, I'm just not used to SFA playing in the tournament and I jumped the gun on that call. They do have the non losing season, just not the guarantee winning season yet.
