Watched some of it on the +. Pretty clear to me that the days of us "rolling" weak SLC opponents are over. We may still be the favorite and win more than our share of titles but it won't be the like 2000's 2010's

Yes. I think it was a 5 setter.

Just looked it up it was in 4, UIW won first and then lost 3 in a row.

The first set was the worst set I have seen us play all season, and it's not even close. Serious lack of communication and execution. Some better in the second set. We played much better in the third and fourth sets as the short bench of UIW started to catch up to them. Then we suddenly could not pass in the fifth. We battled, but couldn't overcome the poor start.

Ilana was a huge spark off the bench, even after injuring her knee. She played the last three sets almost on one leg. She is still dealing with a left hand issue. Ty has participated in pre game warm-ups the last two games.

This was a bad home loss. The good news is that we are still tied for first. Two must win road games up next at a middle of the pack ETAMU, and a terrible NSU.

Yes, I was wondering why we left Ilana in the match in that 5th set. She could barely walk.

BTW, I was really impressed by Jordan Henderson. She can really hit! And Jayden was her usual perfect self. There's not a better setter in this league.

Jordan is really learning the game. Athletic as she can be, she just came to SFA without a lot of VB IQ.
