I was pleased to see Ilana play, and play at a high level. (Other than the service errors.) She had her left thumb wrapped as recently as Saturday at the football game. She was upbeat when I talked to her, but the magnitude of the injury was undetermined. She played very little against SMU, and not at all against UTEP.

That is great Bella has made a comeback in fairly quick fashion. Hopefully she stays healthy.

any update on Ty Joseph? She is 12 or 13 months post surgery I think so starting to think she may just be a complete medical?

I talked to Ty post game. I will never talk about an injured player unless the HC has publicly said something. I will say, she is progressing.

It's remarkable how much difference one player can make. With Bella, this is a much improved team. That was an old fashioned butt whipping.
