And, she got a late start. UH didn't make a coaching move until late January. SFA had to go through the hiring process that ended up with Ashley. She had to hire a staff, and recruit existing, and incoming players. While she, her husband, and their two young children moved from San Antonio to Nacogdoches. Expect a very nice signing class on Wednesday. They have five 2027 commits already.

All since March 27.

First half feeling even so far. Need a breakthrough.

Didn't capitalize on having the wind in the first half. Need some low speed in the second.

Ladyjacks doing a good job controlling the ball in the first 20 minutes of the second half. Having trouble getting past HCU's compressed back line.

Going to OT. Jacks have to take advantage of long shots with the wind. The wind is blowing so hard that a shot from anywhere in the attacking half has a shot.

HCU scores in OT when they caught SFA playing some uncharacteristically soft defense to win the championship. Jacks definitely had their chances but couldn't quite finish. Still an incredible season.
