Not knowing what the level of competition was for each player, but it is good to see the two freshmen at the top of the results. Sonja is from Sweden. Nella is from Peru. Still no seniors on the team.

Having a coach in place for a little while helps! Who would have thought. Great to see our tennis program back and solid. The SLC is a way better fit than the WAC for the vast majority of our programs. And I was a skeptic.

Nothing has been posted yet (I think all of the externals are in Lake Charles), but the Ladyjacks beat UTRGV 6-1, to go to 8-4 (3-0) on the season. We only lost one set over the six singles matches. Unquestionably the best team we have had in years. No seniors on the team.
