Ladyjack softball had a bit of a rough early going but this weekend in Louisiana SFA defeated Iowa St, Monmouth, Army and West Georgia to bring the season record to 8-10. Play Maine tomorrow to finish that tourney.
Glad to see them get some good wins under their belt as we near SLC play.

The wins have come in spite of our top two pitchers having injury issues. One of them has not pitched either this tournament or in San Marcos. Hoping she is ready by conference. The other has been dealing with an injury that kept her out most of the fall. She's not 100%, but is making good progress. Defense has been ragged, but is coming. The bats came alive on Saturday, run ruling both Army and West Georgia.

SFA defeats Maine today 9-7. Record now at 9-10. La Tech on Tuesday then SLC gets going.
