Remarkable turnaround season by the Lumberjacks and first year HC, Ben Williams. 1-0 at the half, then broke it open in the second half for the 5-0 win. We were the faster, higher quality team all match.

On to Corpus as the one seed. They have a turf field which we are not fans of. One of our talented freshmen got hurt last night. Don't know the extent of the injury.

Then, do we automatically qualify for the NCAA tournament?

Edit: I checked the Texas A&M Commerce athletics website to confirm eligibility. TAMU Commerce is officially eligible 2026-2027.

I agree there has to be some tension with this game or the next, but I'm in the camp this is a must win. New coach, new times. Let's win and start a new tradition.

We all know the likelihood of a good draw in our region in the tournament. Let's get that trophy.

I just don't want any of our girls to get hurt on the concrete hard, turf field that Corpus has. VB has had enough major injuries for all women's sports.
