Really excited about this years team. Lots of returning pitching from last years rotation. Hopefully a years experience gives us advantage with our arms. Fully expect us to hit the ball well.

Extra innings! I know this is an early game, but SFA going toe to toe with a top club. We're playing very well. Probably should have won in the 9th with bases loaded and 1 out, but both sides have great pitching. We should win a lot this year.

Ivan Garcia is a good looking pitcher. Excellent curve ball.

Yep. And this Starks kid is killer against leftys.

Ah, man. What a way to lose. On a wild pitch during an intentional walk... But the Jacks played the Aggies dead even the whole night. They did themselves proud against the #20 team in the country.

Yeah that was a bummer. My guess is that guy's getting some throws to home practice in his future. Played 11 pitchers! And really they all played fantastic- save that final series.

Our guys faced some top level pitching and handled themselves well. We had the winning run a couple of times - just couldn't pull it in. A strong statement at the beginning of the year. We can play with anyone. Now let's go get some wins.

Crazy that we were the only SLC team to lose last night, and the opponents for the other teams weren't scrubs either...

Just out of curiosity, I went to the ULM baseball website to see how they reported such an embarrassment (in their home opener, no less). Their story simply said "Warhawks Fall on Tuesday Night". LOL!

5-10 SFA falls to UTSA

Jacks give up all 10 runs in the first 3 innings and then shut down the Roadrunners for the final 5.

Back in action at 2:00 as SFA tries to stop a 4 game losing streak.

Jacks drop 5th straight loss in game two to UTSA 1-14. The offense is really struggling to say the least.

7-0 win against Texas Southern, tons of SO's in this one.

Boy this team is a puzzlement. Played so damn well against one of the top teams in the country, then seemed to just fall apart for a while. I expected much better after the way they played A&M.
