Bogues and Harris both made the SLC-All Conference Second Team while TJ made the third team.

Holyfield and Augustin also both made the Defensive team!

Stevi Parker made the All-conference First team as well as the Defensive team.

Imani Johnson was Newcomer of the Year!

I think they pretty much got it right.

Could argue a bit with Howard as PoY on guys side, but his stats don't lie.

Peters as NCOY is a close call with Shannon...perhaps Shannon had a few too many games of bad numbers.

Overall, I think it's probably pretty good list.

Its a shame that SFA has such a well rounded team. A lot of times a high scoring player is so because of the lack of anyone else on his team being able to score.Thus he does more. Congrats to all.

On the men's side, all four of these guys return next year!

Out of the 15 men on the First, Second, and Third All Conference Teams, the only non-seniors are Bogues, Harris, Holyfield, Marlain Veal of SELA, David Caraher of HBU, Quatarrius Wilson of McNeese, Kalob Ledoux of McNeese, and Ishmael Lane of Northwestern State.

Add to the mix our other underclassmen and our incoming freshmen (and maybe a JUCO or two) and it'll be a foregone conclusion that SFA will be a unanimous preseason pick to win the conference next year.

No defensive team honors for Gilmore?

No, it's all stat based. Gilmore was our best defender all around, but those performances are mainly no shows on stat sheets. The other team's players didn't get their points, less fg attempts, etc. An unsung hero. Glad he went off for a career high on his final regular season game.
