I don't know if it's fair to pull one player out for their own thread, but I think we all know how special it is having Shannon come off the bench. I thought I would put up some stats as we get close to halfway through conference play.

- 3rd in total minutes behind Kevon and TJ (517).
- 1st in total buckets (124); more than Ivan and Leon combined
- 1st in 2 pointers (112); 23 more than TJ who's in 2nd
- 2nd in FT% (83%) a half point behind Ivan
- 3rd in assists (30)
- 4th in steals (31) though Aaron is the leader at 34
- Has fewer TO's than every starter but Aaron
- Fewest fouls of any player with more than 100 minutes
- 2nd in ppg (14.9); 1.2 ppg behind Kevon

Just wanted to point out with stats how special that guy is as our Sixth Man. Now with Charles hitting his stride, Comeaux running point like a stud, and Sammy and Bain not allowing for much drop off. We have to have the most fearsome bench in the SLC. As demonstrated by essentially the bench downing Sam by themselves.

Feel free to give Shannon some love.

we shouldnt be shocked. He did score a thousand points in 2 years at JUCO. Usually takes player 4 years to reach those numbers at university. He was born to score

Yep. And if you include our other transfer Comeaux in the mix, we're a fair amount faster overall.

True. And the growth of Aaron and the addition of Comeoux is huge. Shannon is indeed a game changer.

I don't know if we are still on him, but if we did get TJ Washington then we would have a three-headed monster at the point guard position.

Dang, I knew he was electric when he got going, didn't know the stats looked like that though. Wow.

I can't remember what game it was, maybe LSU, but the commentators said Shannon Bogues was a power 5 guard playing at a mid-major program.

It was at the LSU game, but they were echoing what Keller told them.

Shannon is posting the most points per possession on our team - about 32 pts/100 possessions - in conference play. Sitting right behind him - you guessed it - Stefon Fisher.
