This is round 15 of this year's prediction competition presented by Kinnaird Guitars. It is a very simple contest, just copy and paste what I have below between the two lines and fill in your prediction including the tiebreaker. The tiebreaker will occasionally change so be aware and make sure to check it. In order to determine the winner I will take the difference between your prediction of the SFA points and their actual points. Then I will take the difference of your prediction of the opponents points and their actual points. I will then add them together and determine the outcome. If you choose the wrong winner, you will be assessed a penalty which will be the worst score of those that chose the right winner.

The closest prediction will receive 10 points and then so on (2nd gets 9, 3rd gets 8...). If you have a perfect prediction, you will receive an 8 points bonus! I will do my best to have the scores posted within the next day of the game but no guarantees.

The tiebreaker for this game is total SFA bench points for the game. Good luck!

Round 15 thoughts:

- Very tight field again tonight. You had to be inside 7 points of total score differential to get any points tonight. Amazing how the predictions turned out - even if the game flow wasn't what was expected.

- I really don't want to jinx this team, but yet again, the tiebreaker is way under all the guesses. Bench points have been one of the most consistent stats from our team. Tonight - 13. Mainly because of nothing much from Bogues, Comeaux, and Charles, and nothing from Sammy. (Where was he?) Even TallTexan and BigJack85 who underbid the average guess by half of everyone else still overshot the final. I'm thinking I need to find tiebreakers that if we overshoot them won't hurt our team's chances at winning. Sorry Shannon...next game I won't put you on the hook.

- 3 people correctly guessed SFA's 76 points, 1 person ACU's 66. MasterAxe correctly nailed the 10 point win; unfortunately he was 10 points low on both teams' scores. cboothe09's steady guesses keep him solidly leading. Will anyone catch up?

Oops. I just ripped my pants while taking a bow.

(Side story: I really did rip my pants while officiating a high school varsity BB game a few years ago. Luckily, it was just before halftime and I borrowed a pair of dark-colored shorts from the school to wear under my pants for the rest of the game. I don't think anyone was any the wiser. One of the highlights of my 26 years of BB officiating.)
