I'm sorry, and maybe everyone sees it different than I am, but, every time Ivan Canete runs point, our offense seems to grind to a halt.
And that turnover at the end of the half, when we should hold for the last shot, is completely lazy and just plain bad basketball.

Sammy is getting out worked on defensive rebounds, looking real soft. Giving up 2nd chance looks. We are playing ok but really careless TOs on our part make this tough to watch.

Sammie is a liability.
I know Coach K likes to have Sammie's height on the court, but I'd rather have Ty or Bain's superior athleticism out there much more in some of those situations.

This game was a good start. We missed a lot of easy shots and honestly should've won by 40. But this was a good way to bounce back from an incredibly humiliating loss last week.

I wouldn't call this an ugly 17 point win, but it wouldn't have won a BB beauty contest. But we'll take it! And with the other conference results tonight, just like that, the conference has suddenly come back to us. Now we just need for the 'Bad News Bears' (aka SELA) to stumble a few times.
I think a lot of this game was attitude. A little voice probably whispered "You can't just show up and expect a win because your SFA ". They've been so dominant for most of the past 4 seasons that I think we just really needed a humbling experience

Maybe I watched a different game, but it seemed fairly dominant from start to finish. We had sloppy plays sure, but they are a good team. Their defense is good too. They didn't play like a chump team. We played good.
A team that averages over 85 had 35 points 6 minutes into the second. No one played down in my opinion. Kevon wasn't dominant, but solid. Good all around ball with Comeaux playing great!

I'm not saying we didn't dominate. We did. Im saying we easily could've won by 40 or more, but missed a ton of easy shots that should've went in.
Dominating performance at the SLC level. That's about it.
Now to turn our attentions to the Demons.

I'm with Ryan. Always can be better but that was domination over a 2-0 team who was rolling. I have no complaints.

Saw some really good things. When we clean up the unnecessary negitaves we will be a tourney team. Why is it everyone we play seems to be taller than us? And did it seem dark in the gym?
