SFA 71-23. A little sloppy the last four minutes. Defense has stayed good but just playing for fast buckets.

MJ, Manu, Kobe. I think I've discovered our recruiting strategy. Next year we'll have a Shaq and a Magic.

I see what you did there...

SFA 83-29. Final media. Third squad looking good.

Russell with only 4 points on 1-9 shooting. I don't think we'll be seeing that very often.

Brauer: "As a team, if the ceiling is 10, we're at a 5 right now."

Looks to me like Pearson is our best big man transfer.

I think I agree.

Simmons with 8 assists.

With it being SFA Charter School night there's double the attendance from Monday, but it's still light for a Friday night. Hopefully next week against Rice will be more impressive.

---

senior night in area football games claimed a lot of numbers, including me. Crowds will get bigger soon. Plus playing a non D1 is somewhat a factor.

If you compare the crowds for these first 2 games, compared to early season games the past 2-3 years they look slightly better. Greatest improvement is the start of a real purple haze presence. I am optimistic

OK, now time to play some Division I competition!

East Texas A&M is having all the fun.
