I was very underwhelmed with Simmons. He has the two worst looking shots of the game. Seemed slow to the ball. The last 6 minutes when the tide had turned, he looked ok, but not when the game was competitive. I'm not writing him off, just in a game that didn't mean much, i didn't see anything that i felt meant anything.
Otherwise I agree with Ed. Manciel looked like he needs time to even get minutes. Daniel was big but couldn't move anyone. Alisas missed two bunnies. Pearson looked like the best big. Green hit all his free throws which was refreshing, but didn't seem to make much impact.
Lots of unknowns. Doesn't look like a gelled team but we won an easy game against a bad team and the outcome wasn't really ever in doubt.
I kinda like back-slapping fests myself. Since Nacluth usually sits way up in the crowsnest section with his little brood of future Ladyjacks, he obviously was too far away from the real action to get a really clear view of the game, so take his skewed impression of Simmons with a grain of salt.
