The exciting thing is the height. I would like some stats on if this is the tallest Ladyjacks team ever.

I'd be very surprised if this is the tallest ever. Surely not. Only two girls taller than 6'1".

I agree. Not the tallest team we've ever had, but compared to the other SLC heavyweights (McNeese, Lamar, UTRGV) we should have an advantage.

Not even talking about potentially having a bench with more than 3 or 4 substitutes. If we keep 11 or 12 healthy this could be a rewarding season.

Looked it up. This is the fourth tallest Ladyjacks team.
Average: 5' 10.38"

Tallest season was 21-22 team. Average: 5' 11"
Aiyana (6' 3") and Aaliyah (6' 2") Johnson were the two tallest players.

That is awesome. I looked at some of the other SLC rosters. Only a couple of teams have anyone on their roster that is over 6'1". Having three that are 6'2" or taller should be a benefit.

Height is of course welcome but healthy roster would be the best step forward.
Just imagine a full roster and the options that brings to the table.

Getting excited about what's in store for both BB teams this year. Guess I'd better make the call to get my season ticket orders done.

Yep these two ladies should dominate inside when it comes to conference play.

I had a brief conversation with Cha Gardner today at the Alumni Tailgate. She said they are hyped about the season ahead. They've looked very good in practices. More height and depth than in the past couple of seasons.

This will easily be another 20+ win season, with a very good chance at making the NCAA tournament again and doing some damage this time.

IMO Ladyjacks should have higher projection than Lamar. Lamar starting backcourt were both 5th year grad students and carried the workload during the game I saw against SFA in Beaumont. I didn't see any easy replacement coming off the bench. Obviously it can certainly happen but not sure what the projection was based on?

Is the coach voting. It's within 3 points. Just one coach rated us a bit lower than the rest.
