The guys game definitely has me down about the home court advantage, but I'm still going to be watching every minute of the ladies' game.
Honestly, this never felt like the year. It always felt like a "next year" kind of season. This short bench has been hard. However, the team's grit to overcome Lamar and make it to the championship was impressive. If there's any team that can shock McNeese and knock them off, it's the Ladyjacks. I trust Bishop and his program. Let's go do something special.

These Ladies have surprised me...their resiliency is truly inspiring. Friends sent me pics of us in the stands on ESPN....we are yelling, cheering, happy after the OT. They also saw us (and fortunately didn't take pics lol) when we were down 15 and looking stressed and dejected at 15 points behind Lamar. I, an ardent Ladyjack fan, had given up. But Ashlyn, Myka, Dominguez had different plans. What an amazing comeback! I am beyond proud of this team's grit & determination...Anything can happen. It's March. Ready for one more showdown in Lake Charles. Ready to defend our crown. And I'm not giving up on them until that final buzzer! #AxeEm
