The Valley has never been an easy place for the Jacks to play. Long bus rides to play in a small echoing gym has always left our teams a little flat - even when we win. But, today the Jacks have a little incentive to stay on top - namely a two game lead on the regular season title.

The Vaqueros started the season in a very lackluster way going 2-6 through their first 8 games. The last 8 though has been all fire. They started this run beating the non-Texan McNeese Vaqueros at home. (Jacks beware!)

They are averaging wins by 19 points in the month of February through a relentless offense and board crashing. Expect no difference today. They have what it takes to upset the Jacks, but our squad should be aware of this.

It's a shootout in South Texas. Axe 'em!

The Jacks are going to show why they are the top team in the Southland today. Tough game but they will pull away in the end.

This one does concern me. Win this one and it's a big step towards a championship!

The only positive is they are playing as bad as we are.

18-14 SFA final first half media. Only one point in that four minutes.

25-19 SFA halftime. Another game where we keep the opponent under 20 for a half.

Neither team shooting well. The first five minutes coming out of the break will be big.

UTRGV is a tough matchup. Know one wants to see them in the tournament

It would have been the dagger to make it hard to reach. I get the logic. But bleeding would have been a bit nice.

I did not get to watch until the last 5 minutes of game. Fixing to watch.

Huge win for the Jacks. Looks like Keon showed the Southland why he is the POY. 23 Big wins with 5 games left.

We can legitimately go 8-9 deep. I mean I'm not seeking to see Christian Green and Marcus Scurry each get 18 minutes a night , but it sure helps the rotation when you can plug Green in for 5 minutes and the game doesn't go south.

They bottled up Lateef Patrick tonight. He's an important cog in the wheel.

Fanatic is right. We looked like we could have used more Chotikavanic. He's better than Burton defensively. All 3 of our off guards need to deliver down the stretch. Our offense has to have some long distance magic.
