The Lumberjacks will get a home rematch against the Lamar Cardinals whom they dispatched by 7 points a couple weeks ago. It was a close match throughout. After a tie game with 12 minutes to go, the Jacks pried up a small lead and never let it go.

The game 88-81 had many high scorers with Keon leading the way with 26 points. Lateef followed with 23 and Kam and Narit put in 12 apiece.

Should be another dogfight with Lamar hanging onto the 7th seed and .500 in the conference. The Jacks will need to stay focused and supply a little more defense than they did in Beaumont.

Ya. Looked good until 2:00 mark. Really thought the team played excellent. In all facets. Except rebounding.

We loaded too many newbies in at the same time.
