The Lumberjacks are coming off a dominant win against Arkansas State, but there's no rest as they face off against the Rice Owls tonight. The Owls aren't picked to be super successful this year, but they played a tough game at Oregon to within a couple points.
Rice led by PG Jalen Smith scored more than half their points from behind the arc, but were not efficient in the paint. They had to foul Oregon a lot, but the Ducks did not capitalize and left the Owls in it.
Tonight, we'll see if the stats from last game hold up for the Jacks. Solid defensive pressure matched with offensive efficiency was the name of the game at home. Tonight in Houston, we'll see if they can travel with that style of play.
