The Lumberjacks are back at home today for the second half of the Nicholls doubleheader. Please come out and support the women at 2 pm and then stick around to cheer on this men's team.

The guys are playing for pride now. Nicholls has an outside shot of taking the #2 seed away from Lamar, but they have to win today to do it, so they have motivation. The Jacks are just playing for their fans and themselves. Today will be the last day for a "big" Saturday crowd.

Come and yell this team to victory.

First time I have heard him. I agree that he was very good. He was much, much better than the guy that filled the job on Thursday.

I honestly hope it's not him. No more D-2 coaches, please. I'm hoping it'll be someone with national recognition in the D-1 coaching ranks.

In the radio postgame, Rob Meyers said we'll probably be getting a new coach announcement in the next couple of weeks. Rob undoubtedly has some inside information about what has been happening behind the scenes.

. I'm thinking that also, but what do I know.. would a P5 assistant be more in touch with higher level players and D1 systems???

That's actually what I am hoping for. Hire a Power 5 assistant and hopefully bring in some power 5 players wanting major playing time.
