Tomorrow's home game against the Islanders gives the Jacks a chance to build on the momentum that was started with Hayman's 60 foot shot. So far this year, the Lumberjacks have not defeated a top 200 team. The Islanders are 159.

Winners of two out of the last three, SFA faithful hope that this is the start of a turnaround. Tomorrow's contest will be a nice test to see if the Jacks can play a consistent game of offense and defense. Come check out the doubleheader.

On paper, this was our best game of the season, but I think the eye test would say the same. Good ball movement, good attacking, good defense, team play.

Maybe a two game winning streak is just the smallest win streak, but heading into Monday where a win gets us into a tie for the 8 seed is huge. Dead in the water at 1-8 to 4-9 in conference. Not done yet. Time to build.

Agree. This is a different team than it was two weeks ago. It's clear, not just during play, but on the bench, during time outs, etc. The assistant coaches are much more engaged than they were before. The substitutions, and in game adjustments make a difference. Stone didn't match up well, Jasick went taller with Nana and Sylla, and results were positive. Stone was very positive on the bench, even having a brief, positive, interaction with coach on the way to the locker room at half.

Agree on the matchup thing with Stone battling a couple trees . Sylla needs more court time. Stone is a team player. Nana and Pangonis stepped up as well as others.

Do you think Jasick is simply, doing a better job of playing to our strengths? The rotation is more guard oriented. Seemed like our spacing is better.

Jasick definitely seems like he's playing more to the strengths we do have. And idk what he's telling the guys but they're much more fired up than they've been all year.

Had to watch on demand because of work, but MAN was I happy with what I saw! These guys reminded me of much better days. It was the most fun I've had watching them all season. Jasick is doing an admirable job to be sure.

The team chemistry has changed notably. We have a flawed team, but it's not as bad as I thought a month ago. Looking forward to Monday night and continuing the momentum.
