46-42 UIW final media. Stone going to the line to shoot two to bring it to a one possession game.
They just put on the big board that percentage wise SFA is outshooting UIW. Not the day.
UIW won the race to 50. Down 7 with 2:11 left.

Jacks played tough, but it's going to be difficult to win more than a handful of games when the team shoots so poorly.

I can't even see us beating at most four SLC opponents for how poorly we are shooting. I get a defense-minded team, but when you leave a guy wide open for three, there's no defense, lol. I'm tired of it and ready for a new style of play. We didn't even hit 50. This is an all-time low, I feel.Rev007 said:

We have shooters but are sticking to our guts and staying defensive. We hardly even used our 7-foot player for an easy layup to the basket. Surely, no one can reach him. RIGHT?

We have one game over 70 points this year (72 vs. Monmouth). This is our third game sub 50 (2nd in Southland play).

Keon Thompson is not as good as Cajuste.

Getting beat by a team that plays in the equivalent of a bad high school gym …. unacceptable. I feel bad for our players.

I'm not sure why our shooting percentage is so low. We seem to be getting reasonably open looks. Hayman and Thompson have to get going.

Keith Lamar needs to get going also. He averaged 13.8 points per game last season. This year has been a bust.

Ya. Expected a lot more from him. But most of all, I feel like Keon Thompson is way below what we expected in terms of shot making and shot creating Not as much shot creating as we hoped, because he can't make a shot and spread the court.
Teams are going to force us to shoot. They've figured out how bad we are.
