SFA (5-5) vs. #12 Oregon (9-1)

WHERE: Matthew Knight Arena (Eugene, OR)
WATCH: BTN

The Lumberjacks are way out west to face their toughest team of the season: the Oregon Ducks who are currently ranked 12th in the nation.

The Jacks are 21.5 point underdogs. There are no moral victories in basketball, but if there were, then beating the spread would be one. (Reminder our last game we lost by 19 to the Islanders)

Playing this game to within 10 points would be an incredible result worth some real kudos. A win would be an accomplishment that would rank almost as high as beating Duke. Dream Jack fans.

I don't know what the game plan going in is, but I hope it involves not injuring ourselves and making threes.

Half of Nac will be at the Christmas parade tomorrow and the other half doesn't have the Big 10 network, so fire up Q107, take a drink with every turnover, and enjoy the game.

I will report what I see on the ground when I can. I'm hoping for an upset or at least a close one. If I drink, that will not be a pretty hour and a half drive home back down to the Burg.

I hope it's a good outcome. I had planned to attend, but based on the start of the season, I changed my mind. I hope I'm wrong about the outcome, and I sincerely wish you have a great time there!

The annoncers on BTN are right on about SFA's shooting, or lack thereof. Having 7 footers taking most of our threes is a recipe for disaster.
