61-28 after 3. HCU actually won that quarter 14-12. Honestly kind of a lazy quarter. Hard to raise intensity after that first half.

I think this is only the 2nd or 3rd one I've watched start to finish. I really felt like that first half was a masterclass. If we can play at that pace for 3 quarters, we will beat down a lot of squads. And really it was the 3-point shooting in the 3rd quarter that really sucked.

SFA has five players averaging double digits in points per game. UIW has one player averaging 10.0 ppg.
After 1 Q, SFA 18, UIW 13. UIW appears to have much better players now than they had before SFA left the SLC a couple of years ago.
This is the best team of SLC officials I've seen so far. I haven't been impressed with the conference's officials before today.

67-60 final. As crazy as this will sound, this game actually shows just how good SFA is. They played a very, very bad game and still beat a pretty good UIW team by 7.
But they must shoot better than this against Southeastern and Lamar in their next two games or they won't win either of them.
