Not scoring for the last 5 minutes has put us in a huge hole.
Wow. UTRGV
wow, 4th quarter collapse, in a quarter we have been shining.
Disappointing to lose to a weak UTRGV squad. It's nothing that we can't overcome but again I worry about depth and girls having to play 30+ minutes each for a full season.

Poor defense, weren't prepared. UTRGV believed and they hit nice short jumpers when we left them open, in addition to 3s.
Definitely the worst game by the Ladyjacks this year.
By far! Sickening when a team that you know is not nearly as good or as talented as yours somehow manages to win. It happens sometimes. 0-1 start to conference play.

Whew...utrgv is always a trap game for us. They always shot lights out when they play us. My bets are they won't shoot this well rest of season. Hate to lose our first conference game.

Plus, women sports aren't a consolation prize for men sports--or when the mbb team (or any other team) loses. They should be respected on their own as they are also hard- working student athletes giving it their all.

Chill out, it was humor based on the women having a better program than the men's over the last years. My daughter was an allstar college athlete, so I don't need an you to give me an 'explanation' on what women athletes and their families sacrifice.
Anyone reading your post would.interpret that as a put down & you know it. Alas, you won't silence me on my opinions nor I on yours. Using the Ignore feature & I encourage you to do the same.
That video production was bad. The camera work, fuzzy picture, and the lower thirds scoreboard was never accurate. We had to use espn gamecast along with the video to know the score :/
Anyway, defensive pressure improved but still a lot to work on. Some sloppy passes, missed some easy shots. But a win is a win! Great 3s by Avery and Key. I think TMo was POTG for me! She rebounded well and was a major player!
Glad we beat them in their house since their craggy ol' coach hates SFA! Let's use this win to help another string of W's!

I'm curious why you say Chadwick hates SFA. He had a very good run coaching here but then He made the decision to go to Marshall and leave his success here behind. Has he been quoted running down SFA? saying negative stuff? I don't pay any attention to him since at another Uni, so perhaps I have missed some things he may have said. Not doubting you at all but curious at what I may have missed.
I'm sure he enjoys beating us as any former coach would. That is to be expected.
He did keep Ladyjack basketball in winning mode after Blair moved on.

Heard about it from a very good source from our previous SLC membership time....I wouldn't put anything here unless I knew it was true & this person was very connected to the program.
