After two fouled out, we essentially finished the game with five healthy players. There is some real talent on this team, but depth, depth, depth. Their conditioning appears to be excellent. Three guards on the bench that are needed badly. Nothing has been, or will be, said publicly about their situations, but Lydia's limp is quite public.

I believe the scholarship limit is 15 for D1 women's basketball. We only show 11 on our roster .
Is this budget related? Seems that we would have 12 - 15 roster positions filled. Anyone know what is going on.

It is not budget related. Bishop had at least one other player signed that didn't make it to campus because she was playing for her national team until it was too late. Kellogg never wanted more than 12 or 13 because of playing time, although there was a year or two of exception to that. His current WV roster has 14.BigJack85 said:

I was very impressed with what I saw yesterday. The 4th quarter was one of the best quarters I've seen in a long time. They are going to be very dangerous when they get used to playing together.

They're getting that "core" group LOTS of playing time. This could work out stupendously, if the injured players return and are able to take a few minutes off the backs of our 6-7 man rotation.

SFA playing outmanned (outwomaned?) Wiley tonight. Ladyjacks lead 58-25 at the half. SFA has already hit 11 3's and may threaten the tecord 18 that they hit earlier this season. Wiley has 15 turnovers to SFA's 2.
We need an actual "second string" for games like this.

Final 104-40. The only thing this game helps is padding individual stats. SFA hit 16 threes and had six players in double figures, led by Key Roseby with 19.

Just a note about Cha Gardner. She looked a lot less timid last night. She had her first double-digit scoring game. She seems to be improving, but honestly I don't know if the improvement is real at this point or she was simply playing against a team and players that don't have her size and length. But over the course of her career here, I think she's going to be a heck of a post player.
Cha was more confident and more aggressive last night, albeit against much poorer competition. She is starting to catch up with the speed of college basketball.
